Is your KPS Chromebook not running as efficiently anymore?
Below are four different things you can do to clean up your device.
Update Your Chrome Browser
Click on the three dots in the top hand corner of your browser
Click on Settings
Click on About Chrome in the bottom left of the page
In the middle of the page, you will see a link that says “To see if your device is up to date, go to Chrome OS Settings” - Click on the Chrome OS Settings link
Click on the button that says “Check for Updates”
Remove Your Account from the Device
NOTE: If you have files saved locally to the device, they will be deleted. This does not impact the files in your drive.
On the Chromebook sign-in screen, select the profile you want to remove
Next to the profile name, select the down arrow
Select “Remove account”
Add your account back to the device by clicking on “Add Person”
Reset Your Chromebook
NOTE: If you have files saved locally to the device, they will be deleted. This does not impact the files in your drive.
Sign out of your Chromebook
Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R
In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue
Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account
You will have to re-enter your wifi password to connect to your internet
